The repousse frieze around the vase depicts four small temples with a deity. ‘wo house a goddess and two a god and are flanked by scenes of deities, musicians and a griffin. The name of the owner in Aramaic is incised on the exterior of the pot. These imported objects, beyond the artistic influence they exerted, contributed to the creation of the Greek alphabet.
