Âronze figurine of the god Apollo, from his sanctuary on Mount Ptoon, Boeotia. Ca. 510 B.C.
The god is rendered as a kouros (nude adolescent) type. According to the inscription incised on the left thigh, it was dedicated by a certain Eugeitias. The piece was produced by a Naxiot workshop.
