Funerary stele made of poros stone, with relief chariot scene. Mycenae, Grave Circle A, Grave V, 16th cent. BC.
The spirals in the upper panel may represent waves, thus indicating the coastal location of the scene in the lower panel. The standing charioteer pulls at the reins, while a second figure, who holds a weapon (possibly a sword) in his left hand, is depicted infront of the chariot.
