Impost block of a grave stele, made of Hymettian marble. It was found in the area of Lamprika, in Mesogeia, Attica (ancient deme of Lamptrai). The decoration is executed in very low relief at the three sides of the block. On the front a horseman is depicted, moving to the right. On the left narrow side are two mourning women and on the right a mature man touching his forehead, in a gesture indicating grief and mourning.
