A temporary exhibition presented concurrently
at the National Archaeological Museum and the Numismatic Museum
in collaboration with the Alpha Bank Numismatic Collection

The National Archaeological Museum, the Numismatic Museum and the Alpha Bank Numismatic Collection are joining forces for the first time and are organising the temporary exhibition “MYTH AND COINAGE”, which will be concurrently presented in both Museums.
The Exhibition highlights the relationship between the Greek Mythology and the coinage of antiquity and focuses on the depiction, management and use of myth on the faces of coins from the 7th century BC onwards.
