The National Archaeological Museum, on Friday, August 31th 2012 participating in the Festival of the August Full Moon of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, Culture and Sports, will be open between 20:00 and 24:00 organizing the following events:

• Night guided tour through the Temporary Exhibition of the National Archaeological Museum, Athens, titled “The Antikythera Shipwreck. The Ship, the Treasures, The Mechanism”. Opening Hour: 20:30

• Musical performance in the idyllic atrium (inner garden) by the Guitarte Ensemble. Τhe programme includes surving extracts of Ancient Greek music as well as renown compositions of Manos Chadzidakis and Philippos Tsalachouris written for Ancient Greek drama performances. Opening Hour: 21:30

The cafe of the museum will remain open.
