The National Archaeological Museum undertakes to make the website https://www.namuseum.gr accessible, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4727/2020 (Government Gazette 184 A’ 23-09-2020), Chapter H’ “DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY (INTEGRATION IN THE GREEK LEGISLATION OF DIRECTIVE (EU) 2016/2102 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL, OF 26 OCTOBER 2016, ON THE ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WEBSITES AND APPLICATIONS FOR PORTABLE DEVICES OF THE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR)”, which integrates into the national legal order the Directive (EU) 2016/2012.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.namuseum.gr.

 

Compliance status

The website https://www.namuseum.gr is largely compliant with the guidelines for accessibility of web content (WCAG 2.1 AA). It shows some deviations with regard to guidelines 1.1 and 2.4, on providing text alternatives to non-text content.

 

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on May 08, 2023.

The assessment of the website’s compliance with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out by self-assessment performed by the public sector organization with the use of the axe DevTools® accessibility assessment tool.
